چکیده

This paper reports a negative-pressure driven microfluidic chip, which is capable of rapidly detecting bladder cancer biomarker, APOA1, with aid of magnetic beads-based Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA). Fluid can be handled through vacuum force and normally-closed valve. Comparing the experimental results between integrated chip and 96 well plate, the former requires less time (4 hr to 30 min), fewer reagent consumption (100 μl to 30 μl). In this study, the beadsbased ELISA in chip has higher detection range and shows better performance in both sensitivity and linearity( 99.2%) than conventional ELISA in plate.

Fluorescent Contrast agent Based on Graphene Quantum Dots Decorated Mesoporous Silica Nanoparticles for Detecting and Sorting Cancer Cells

Background and Objectives: The inability of classic fluorescence-activated cell sorting to single cancer cell sorting is one of the most significant drawbacks of this method. The sorting of cancer cells in microdroplets significantly influences our ability to analyze cancer cell proteins. Material and Methods: We adapted a developed microfluidic device as a 3D in vitro model to sorted MCF-7 c...

Rapid isolation and detection of cancer cells by utilizing integrated microfluidic systems.

The present study reports a new three-dimensional (3D) microfluidic platform capable of rapid isolation and detection of cancer cells from a large sample volume (e.g. ~1 mL) by utilizing magnetic microbead-based technologies. Several modules, including a 3D microfluidic incubator for the magnetic beads to capture cancer cells, a microfluidic control module for sample transportation and a nuclei...

Microfluidic Platform for Enzyme-Linked and Magnetic Particle-Based Immunoassay

This article presents design and testing of a microfluidic platform for immunoassay. The method is based on sandwiched ELISA, whereby the primary antibody is immobilized on nitrocelluose and, subsequently, magnetic beads are used as a label to detect the analyte. The chip takes approximately 2 h and 15 min to complete the assay. A Hall Effect sensor using 0.35-μm BioMEMS TSMC technology (Taiwan...

Programmable bio-nano-chip systems for serum CA125 quantification: toward ovarian cancer diagnostics at the point-of-care.

Point-of-care (POC) implementation of early detection and screening methodologies for ovarian cancer may enable improved survival rates through early intervention. Current laboratory-confined immunoanalyzers have long turnaround times and are often incompatible with multiplexing and POC implementation. Rapid, sensitive, and multiplexable POC diagnostic platforms compatible with promising early ...
